These acylated collagen, silk and soy protein hydrolysates, which are linked to various fatty acids such as potassium cocoyl, sodium cocoyl, TEA-cocoyl, sodium lauroyl, are used in mild shampoos, hair texturisers, face washes and even as emulsifier.

The silicone molecule that is linked to the protein hydrolysates from collagen, keratin, silk, soy, wheat, and sesame coats the cuticles, repairs damage, reduces fading of hair colour and prevents thermal damage while the protein provides a hair-repairing function. MW 600. The acidic amino acid in casein (25% by molar ratio) moisturises hair, improves the potential performance of shampoos and hair conditioners by removing calcium and protects the skin from possible irritation caused by surfactants.
